Power, Empowerment and Eco-anxiety in Young People

In this SIG cross-over session between JUPITA and the Sustainable Behaviour group, Jennifer Uchendu will give a presentation on Power, Empowerment and Eco-anxiety in Young People.

Young people globally are experiencing a wave of emotions with regards to the state of our planet. These emotions are valid and critical to our understanding of youth agency and climate resilience. This talk will provide an opportunity to reflect on emerging themes around emotions, empowerment and power and will include a comparative analysis of experiences from the global south and global north.
